The Bushmaster XM15-E2S Patrolman’s Carbine is a 16-inch .223/5.56mm AR-15-pattern rifle built around a straightforward law-enforcement patrol configuration. This police-trade example uses a flat-top upper receiver, fixed front sight base, collapsible stock, and polymer carbine handguard, keeping the rifle close to the traditional Patrolman’s Carbine layout.

The 16-inch barrel gives the rifle a compact general-purpose format without moving into NFA territory, while the fixed front sight base provides a durable mechanical sighting reference.
