The 3M PELTOR FL5018-02 is an MT Series in-line push-to-talk adapter designed to connect compatible 3M PELTOR communication headsets to Motorola radio systems. This adapter is associated with Motorola HT1000 and MT2000/MTS2000-style radio compatibility and is configured for NATO/military-wired headset use. It is commonly used for tactical, SWAT, law enforcement, and field communications setups where a PELTOR headset requires a Motorola radio PTT interface. 3M’s PTT adapter selector describes these adapters as the connection point between 3M PELTOR communication headsets and two-way radios.
