USGI Woodland Camouflage Bivy Cover, Never Issued, Police Trade

The USGI Woodland Camouflage Bivy Cover is the outer weather-protection component used with the U.S. military Modular Sleep System. Rather than adding insulation, the bivy is designed to form a protective shell around the sleeping bag system, helping isolate the user and sleep components from wet ground, wind, and exposed field conditions.

This cover uses the military woodland camouflage pattern and a full-length enclosed construction intended to surround the sleeping bag rather than function as a conventional tent. Its compact, individual format makes it useful where a low-profile sleep system is preferred over a larger shelter, while still allowing the sleeping bag components to remain protected inside the cover.
