Description
Lightweight, spall-free, and rated to NIJ Level IIIA, the Battle Steel 8K2-1012 is a hard polyethylene ballistic panel offering serious handgun and shotgun threat protection in a package that won't weigh you down.
Constructed entirely from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), this panel delivers the same level of protection as heavier soft armor configurations at a fraction of the weight and bulk, with no ceramic fragmentation or spall risk on impact.
Tested and certified to NIJ Standard 0101.06 Level IIIA, this panel reliably defeats all common handgun threats. The shooter's cut profile provides full rifle stock clearance and unrestricted arm movement, making it ideal for active use in a plate carrier during range work, duty use, or tactical operations.
