Battle Steel 893-1114 Level III+ Hard Armor Plate 11"x14", New/Old Stock

When you need rifle protection without the weight penalty of steel, the Battle Steel Level III+ Polyethylene/Ceramic Hard Armor Plate delivers serious stopping power in a lighter, more comfortable package. Constructed from a Silicon Carbide Ceramic strike face bonded to a Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) backing, this plate combines the shattering, round-defeating properties of ceramic with the lightweight, spall-free performance of polyethylene.

Level III+ Special Threat capability means this plate goes beyond standard Level III protection, defeating common rifle threats including M855 5.56mm Green Tip and M80 7.62x51mm FMJ rounds that standard Level III plates may not stop.
