The Avon Protection PC50 Air Purifying Respirator is a professional full-face respirator designed for law enforcement, corrections, riot-control, border patrol, plant security, and other non-CBRN respiratory protection applications. The PC50 is based on Avon’s field-proven 50-series platform and is designed for use with compatible. Features include a panoramic single-lens visor, six-point adjustable head harness, standard communications port, low-profile design, and compatibility with selected tactical helmets and operational equipment.
Avon describes the PC50 as a non-CBRN respiratory device intended to provide protection against certain solid and liquid respirable particles, gases, vapors, and splashes of liquid chemicals when used with the correct approved filter/canister. Filter/canister compatibility and protection level depend on the specific filter used.
